The James L. Jordan Sr., Scholarship Foundation was chartered 15 magnificant years ago with only 10 Foundation members. James L. Jordan, Sr., was an outstandingly notewrothy individual, colleague, fellow deacon and friend of the Foundation Founds. He died in 1993 after battling his illness with cancer.
Over the past 15 years, the Foundation has grown numerically, spiritually, financiall, physcially, mentally and emotionally and solidly committed to preserving the legacy of James L. Jordan, Sr.
The Foundation members share their common goal of "helping inner-city youth achieve their education algoals." Because of their many loyal supporters, they have been able to provide $100,000 in scholarship awards to deserving students in post secondary institutions.
